Privacy and What Happens to Your Data

The calculators on this site run in your browser, and the numbers you type into them are never sent to a server.

Calculators and the numbers you enter

Every calculator on Baguio Signup runs in your browser, and the numbers you enter stay there. A position size, a lot figure, or a margin calculation is processed on your device and is not transmitted to us or stored on a server. We could not read your inputs even if we wanted to, because they never leave the page.

That design is deliberate for a site about trading, where a reader might type in a position size or an account balance they would not want logged. The arithmetic, including the rule that 1 standard lot of gold is 100 oz and one pip is 0.01, runs locally. Closing the tab clears the calculation.

Affiliate tracking stated plainly

This site earns money through affiliate links, which means a broker may pay a referral fee if you open an account after clicking a link here. That is the commercial model, stated without disguise. The fee does not change what you pay the broker, and it does not give this site access to your trading account, your deposits, or your personal details. The link is simply tagged so the broker knows the visit came from here.

Affiliate tracking works by placing a marker in the link you click, not by reading your calculator inputs or your browsing history on this site. The broker records that a visit arrived from this site and may set a cookie on its own domain to remember it. This site does not receive your name, email, GCash number, or bank details from that process. The only thing that comes back is aggregate information such as whether a referral resulted in an account opening.

You are never obligated to use an affiliate link. Typing the broker's address directly into your browser works the same for you and simply means this site does not earn a referral fee. The presence of affiliate links does not change the editorial rule here: no spread, commission, or minimum deposit is stated as a number unless it was given as a fact. If a broker's costs matter to you, check them on the broker's own site before funding with GCash or bank transfer.

What this site stores and what it does not

This site stores only what you type into its calculators, and only inside your own browser. The numbers you enter for a gold position, such as lot size, entry price or margin, are held in local storage so a page refresh does not wipe them. No calculator input is sent to a server, logged, or tied to your name, email, or GCash number. There is no account to create and no profile built around your queries.

This site does not store personal identity data such as your full name, home address, birthday, or government ID. It does not keep a record of your broker account number or your funding transactions. If you use GCash or bank transfer to fund a broker, that flow happens entirely on the broker's side and this site never sees the details. The only persistent item on your device is the calculator state described above, plus any cookie a third party sets when you follow an outbound link.

The site does not store your IP address in a database, and it does not build a browsing history across pages for advertising purposes. Any short-lived technical logs that a hosting provider keeps for security or uptime are outside this site's control and are not used to profile readers. If you clear your browser storage, the calculator values disappear; nothing needs to be deleted from a server because nothing was saved there. The distinction matters: local storage is yours to erase, not ours to retain.

Traffic counts and local storage

We keep only aggregate traffic counts, such as how many times a page was opened, to know which pages are read. These counts are not used to build a profile of you, and they are not sold. We do not run advertising networks of our own on these pages.

Local storage in your browser holds your own preferences, such as a setting you chose on a calculator, so the page behaves the same way when you return. That storage sits on your device and can be cleared from your browser settings at any time. It is not a login, and it does not identify you to us.

Brokers set their own cookies

When you follow a link to a broker such as FxPro, the broker sets its own cookies and handles your data under its own privacy policy, not ours. That includes any cookie used to attribute a referral to this desk. We do not control what the broker collects once you are on its site.

Read the broker's privacy and cookie notices before you open an account, especially if you will fund with GCash or a bank transfer, because those rails involve your own bank and payment details. The regulator named in the broker's documents, such as the FCA (UK) or CySEC, is the one to raise a data concern with; the SEC of the Philippines does not license FxPro.

The rights a reader has and how to use them

You have the right to know what this site stores about you, which in practice is only the calculator values in your own browser, and to erase them whenever you want. Because no personal data is sent to a server, there is no database to request a copy from and no account to close. To exercise the practical version of your rights, clear your browser's local storage and cookies for this site; that removes everything this site placed on your device. No email or form is needed for that step.

You also have the right to browse without affiliate tracking by typing a broker's address directly or by using a private window. If you are in the Philippines, the Data Privacy Act gives you rights over personal data held by organisations, but this site does not hold your personal data in a form that can be retrieved by name. Any data you give a broker, including your GCash number or bank details, is held by that broker, and you exercise your rights with the broker directly under its policy.

If you believe this site has somehow stored something it should not have, you can raise it through the contact route published on the site. Because the design keeps calculator inputs local, most concerns are resolved by clearing browser storage. For broker-side data, contact the broker's support or its data protection officer. This site cannot retrieve, correct, or delete records that belong to a broker, and it will not pretend otherwise. The rights are real; the mechanism depends on who actually holds the data.

Cookies and what each kind is for

Cookies on this site fall into two practical groups: those needed for the page to work and those set by other companies when you click a broker link. The first group is minimal and covers basic functions such as remembering that you have already seen a notice or keeping a calculator session stable. These are not used to track you across other websites. The second group appears only after you follow an affiliate or broker link, and those cookies belong to the destination site, not to this one.

Functional cookies here do not collect your name, email, or phone number, and they do not store the amounts you type into the gold calculators. They exist to stop the page from repeating an action you already completed. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, and the calculators will still work; you may just see the same notice again. No cookie on this site is used to build a profile for advertising networks or data brokers.

When you click through to a broker, that broker may set its own cookies to attribute the visit to this site for affiliate purposes. Those cookies are governed by the broker's policy, not this one. This site does not read, write, or control them. If you want to limit them, use your browser's cookie controls or a private window before following a link. The key point is that any tracking cookie from a broker is set on the broker's domain after you leave this site.

How long anything is kept and what deletes it

Calculator values stay in your browser until you clear them, and this site keeps no copy elsewhere. There is no expiry timer on the local storage entry beyond your own action: closing the tab does not delete it, but clearing site data or using a private window does. If you want a clean slate, use your browser's clear browsing data option and select cookies and site data. Nothing needs to be requested from this site because the retention period is entirely in your hands.

Affiliate cookies set by a broker after you click a link are kept for whatever period that broker specifies in its own policy, and this site does not control or extend that period. Functional cookies on this site are short-lived and exist only to support a single visit. Hosting logs, if any, are kept by the hosting provider for its own security and uptime purposes under its retention schedule. This site does not maintain a separate archive of reader activity.

What deletes local data is your browser, not a request to this site. Clearing cookies and site data removes the calculator values and any functional cookie immediately. Using a private or incognito window means the data disappears when you close the window. For broker-side cookies, the broker's own expiry and your browser controls apply. The practical rule is simple: if you want the local trace gone, clear it in the browser; if you want a broker's trace gone, follow that broker's instructions.

Third parties involved

The third parties involved are the brokers linked from this site and the infrastructure providers that keep the pages online. Brokers such as FxPro operate their own websites and platforms, including MT4, MT5, cTrader and the FxPro app, and their privacy policies apply once you leave here. This site also relies on a hosting provider and a content delivery layer, which may process technical request data such as your IP address for security and uptime. No advertising networks or data brokers are engaged.

FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC, not by the SEC of the Philippines. That regulator caveat matters for privacy because the entity serving the Philippines is the FxPro entity that serves this country, and its data handling follows its own policy. This site does not pass your calculator numbers or any personal detail to FxPro; the only connection is the affiliate tag in the link you choose to click. Any account application, identity check, or funding step happens on FxPro's systems under its terms.

No third-party analytics company is embedded in these pages, and no social media pixel is installed. The calculators run entirely in your browser, so the numbers you type never reach a third party through this site. If you use GCash or a local bank transfer to fund a broker, that transaction is between you and the broker; this site is not a party to it and does not see the amount or the reference number. The short version: third parties here are brokers you choose to visit and the basic hosting that serves the page.

FAQ

Common questions

What information does Baguio Signup collect when I use the calculators?

The calculators run on the figures you type, such as lot size, entry and exit, and they do not require an account. We do not ask for broker logins, passwords or one-time codes, and we do not need your GCash or bank details because the desk never handles funds. Any storage is limited to what is needed to keep the page working.

Do you collect my email address if I use the contact form?

Yes, if you enter it, because we need a way to reply to your question or correction. That address is used for the correspondence and is not sold. You can ask for it to be removed once the matter is closed. We do not add contact-form addresses to a marketing list without a separate, clear opt-in.

Does the site use cookies or analytics, and can I turn them off?

The site may use cookies and analytics to understand which pages and calculators are used, which helps decide what to improve. What is collected depends on the tools in place at the time and your browser settings. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; some features may behave differently if you do, but the core calculators still work.

Is my data shared with the brokers you mention, such as FxPro?

Not unless you choose to follow a link and sign up, at which point the broker's own privacy policy governs what it collects. The desk does not pass your contact-form messages or calculator inputs to a broker. For reference, FxPro is licensed by the FCA (UK) and CySEC - not by the SEC of the Philippines, so its data handling follows that entity's rules.

How long is information kept, and how do I ask for a copy or deletion?

Retention depends on the type of record: correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve the matter and keep a correction trail, while analytics data follows the retention set by the tool in use. To request a copy or deletion of what you sent us, use the contact form and state what you want removed.
